She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray W. Curtis and Madge H. Curtis (Tuttle); and her siblings, Leon Curtis (Bonnie), Harlen Curtis, Junior Curtis (Mary Belle), Wendell Curtis (Joyce), Aline Young and Mae Mathes.
She is survived by: her husband Hobart Chipman; her daughter Jeanie (Richard Sill) of Durham, Missouri; her brother Jack Curtis (Veva) of LaBelle, Missouri; her children, Barb Cook of Quincy, Illinois and Glenn Chipman of Quincy, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jimmy Shanks of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, Donnie Shanks of Cambridge, Wisconsin, Susie (Terry Houston) of Mt. Sterling, Illinois, Amanda Creely of St. Louis, Missouri and Cody (Nicole Sill) of Fowler, Illinois; and her great grandchildren, Justin Shanks of Cambridge, Wisconsin and Lea Houston of Mt. Sterling, Illinois.. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters and friends.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Durham Cemetery Association or to the Ladies Auxiliary of Country Aire Retirement Estates.
