With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Richard Gaus of Ewing, Missouri, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Richard and Mildred Irene Logsdon Gaus; and his brothers, Eldon and Edwin Gaus. He is survived by: his pet Frankie; his wife Mardy Gaus of Ewing; his children, Regina Gaus (William Terlisner) of Quincy, IL and Darin Gaus (Chantel) of Ewing; his grandchildren, Sadie Smith (Calvin) of Quincy, IL, Lindseigh Griesbaum (Andrew) of Ewing, Alexis Davis (Bryan) of Palmyra and Zayne Gaus of Ewing; his great grandchildren, Andrin, Arrow Griesbaum, Denver, Dawsyn Davis, Sajrina and Catalina Smith; and his sister Berniece Neisen (Paul) of Ewing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimers Association.
