Sydney Jean Mead Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sydney Jean Mead (Ewing, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 21. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Kenneth, Barbara Cramsey, Vernon and Ann McClure; and her grandparents, Rick and Ileen Mead.

She is survived by: her parents, Rick Mead and Jenny Mead; her great-grandparent Barbara Jean; her siblings, Ethan Mead (Elizabeth), Elijah Mead (Devan) and Hannah Mead; her pet Nova; her nieces and nephews, Veronika and Dominik Mead; her grandparents, Dennis Hedges, Sandy and Denny Meehan; her aunts and uncles, Kelly Mead, Melissa Kaylor (Brian), Jake Hedges (Erin) and Josh Hedges (Danielle); and her cousins, Shelby Rockhold (Dalton), Ashley Kaylor, Wyatt Collins, Jace, Dawson, Dayn, Elin Hedges, Hadley, Kennady and Emersyn Hedges. She is also survived by Numerous Great aunts/uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (21875 MO-6, Ewing, MO 63440). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Sydney Mead Memorial Fund for a later designation in care of Ball-Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 273, Ewing, MO 63440.
