He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Lee and Helen Louise Bugh Whitaker; his former wife Barb Whitaker; his siblings-in-law, Merlin and Norma Earlywine; his siblings, Faye Whitaker, Mary McIntosh, Virginia Leekley, Lorraine Crabill, Roger Whitaker, Virgil Whitaker, Bob Whitaker, Phil Whitaker and Jimmy Whitaker; and his granddaughter-in-law Madi Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jean Earlywine of Ewing; his children, Tony Whitaker (Ronda) of Lewistown, Adam Ragar of Monroe City, MO, Eric Ragar (Marissa) of Danvers, IL, Amber Whitaker Cope of Troy, MO, Brenda Wasser (Jason) of Foristell, MO, Catie Whitaker of Lewistown, Chrissie Jacobson (Nick) of Ewing, Samantha Klocke-Clay of Lewistown and Bobbi Jo Patterson of Lewistown; his siblings, Madeline Trpkosh, Betty Thrasher (Kent), Victoria Williams-Fisher, Cliff Whitaker, Danny Whitaker, Lavern Whitaker and Delane Whitaker; his grandchildren, Douglas Whitaker (Courtney) of Geoffrey Whitaker, J. J, Wasser, Jaxon, Jace Franklin, Riley, Brayden Yonker, Chase, Colton, Ryland Ragar, Hunter Vorce, Christopher Patterson, Jade Cope, Dannika Yonker, Ellie Jacobson, Amillia Ragar, Raylee Ragar, Chloe, Ciara Klocke and Emma McKenzie; and his great grandchild William Whitaker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri or to the Parkinson's Foundation in care of the Ball-Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 273, Ewing, MO 63440 in Ewing.
