He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Oscar and Fannie Grace Schaberg Krietemeyer; his wife Ruth C. Schmitz Dolan; his stepson Mike Dolan; his siblings, Carlene Breeden (Ralph), Mary Johnson (Aaron), Helen Bradney (James), Martha Archer, Irene Griesbaum (Albert), Pauline Sutton (Don), Richard Krietemeyer (Norma) and Carl "Bob" Krietemeyer (Vera); and his nephews, Donald Johnson, Gary Bradney, David Bradney, Robert Bradney and Carl Archer.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Lucinda Moss of Ewing; his stepgrandchildren, Tom Dolan of La Belle, MO and Beth Voyles of Derby, KS; and his nieces and nephews, Kathryn Sparrow, Martha Olson, Carol Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Ronald Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Richard Krietemeyer, Randy Krietemeyer, Sandra Heming, Daniel Griesbaum, William Griesbaum, Cynthia Kroeger, Susan Steffen, Jenny Carter and John Krietemeyer.
