James Luke Cottrell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2021, at the age of 70, James Luke Cottrell of Ewing, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Cottrell and Carol W. Wilson Cottrell; his wife Kathy Jo Simmons; his brothers, Mark Cottrell and Marty Cottrell; and his brother-in-law Jerry McKenzie.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Simmons (Helen) of Palmyra, Carman Cottrell of Quincy, James Cottrell (Brandy) of Quincy, Cory Cottrell (Kelsey) of Ewing and Candis Cottrell (Matt Fletcher) of Lewistown; his grandchildren, Laina Simmons, Laden Simmons, Lennox Simmons, Mason Cottrell, Tatum Cottrell, Ayden Kelso, James Owen Cottrell, Naviah Cottrell, Braelyn Fletcher and Bailey Fletcher; and his siblings, Winnie McKenzie of Lewistown, John Cottrell (Carolyn) of LaBelle, Frank Cottrell (Gail) of Canton and Daniel Cottrell of Lewistown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
