He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Chipman and Leoma Chipman (Whitaker); his siblings, Larry, Vearl Chipman, Hazel Chipman and Elvesa Williamson; his siblings-in-law, Walt Williamson, Rolla Garkie and Verneal Chipman; his nephew David Garkie; his stepdaughter Jeanie Sill; and his close friend Mrs Gene Rudd.
He is survived by: his son Glenn Chipman of Quincy; his stepdaughter Barb Cook of Quincy; and his siblings, Terry Chipman (Barbara) of Palmyra and Doris Jean Garkie of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to Durham Cemetery Association or to Heartland Resources in care of Ball-Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 273, Ewing, MO 63440.
