He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest and Arietta Maxine Shires Turner; his sister Aloma; his brother-in-law Jerry Shoop; his in-laws, Anne and Ercil Gaus; his brother-in-law William Rash; and his niece Anita Rathbun.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Turner of Ewing; his children, James Kent Turner (Deann Hopson) of Ewing, MO and Michelle "Shelly" Nichols (Michael) of Ewing, MO; his sister Betty Maxine Fifer (Donald) of Ewing; his granddaughters, Kellie Ann Seals (Justin) of Monticello, MO, Amanda Marie Struchtemyer (Barrett) of Mayview, MO, Alicia Marie Doran of Palmyra, MO and Jami Lynn Turner of Centralia, MO; his great grandchildren, Tyler D., Tucker M., Toby O. Seals, Elaine M., Lucille A. Doran, Emmett J. and Quinnlyn A. Struchtemyer; and his aunt Travelle Whitaker of Ewing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Dover Baptist Church, Dover Cemetery or the Charity of the Donor's Choice in care of Ball-Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 273, Ewing, MO 63440.
