He is survived by: his wife Gail McDonough of Eureka; his children, Thomas McDonough (Sharon) of Hawaii, Michelle Dedert (Charles) of Maryland Heights, Rachael Liebhart (Eric) of Catawissa and Mary Schiller of Webster Groves; his grandchildren, Katie Dedert, Kimberly McDonough, Brendan Liebhart (Jackie Archer), Grace Liebhart, Joshua Liebhart, Zayne Smith, Abigail Smith and Max Schiller; and his brother Dennis McDonough (Edie) of Bath, IN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
