He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Ann; his parents, Floyd Charles Johnston and Dorothy Louise Springman; and his brother Kenneth Leo Springman. He is survived by: his sons, Paul E. Haynes (Linda) and John Haynes (Cora); his grandchildren, Cedric Cook (Alison), Ian Cook, Ryan Haynes, Caleb Haynes (Taylor) and Cara Haynes; and his siblings, Eugene Franklin Springman (Lynn), Sonja Oberkramer (Don) and Darlene Tucker (Toni).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society , in honor of Cynthia Ann Johnston.
