He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Smith and Thelma; his wife Margaret Smith; his sons, Jeff and Eddie Smith; and his siblings, Alma "Ruth" Smith, Bobby Smith and Benny Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Crider of Gray Summit; his grandson Jeffrey Allen Smith of Albertsville, Alabama; and his daughter-in-law Laura Smith. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
