He was predeceased by: his parents, Merideth Nelson (Bud) and Phyllis Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Spurgin; his children, Lauren, Jimmy, Hannah and Christopher; his granddaughters, Piper and Daisy; and his brother Patrick (Norma Nelson) of Menasha, WI.
