He was predeceased by: his parents, K. K. Philipose and Sosamma Philipose. He is survived by: his wife Jorie Philipose; his daughters, Shiphie and Shirene; and his siblings, George Philips (Alice Philips), John Philipose (Grace John) and Alice Babu.

In lieu of flowers, Ben would like donations sent on his behalf to Shirene for her medical bills.
