He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Tilley and Vevie Drye Tilley; his son David Tilley; and his siblings, Dale Tilley, William Merrick, Carl "Pete" Tilley, Charles "Tinker" Tilley, Robert Tilley, Gerald "Shorty" Tilley, Maxine Robey, Floy Jean Robey, Lula Jackson and Lenora Bost.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hoss; his sons, Larry Tilley Jr. (Brittany) of Essex and Ronnie Tilley (Carla) of Dexter, Missouri; his siblings, J. W. Tilley of Bloomfield, Kenneth Tilley of Van Buren, Missouri, Katherine Hopkins of Bloomfield and Gale Bess of Dexter, Missouri; his grandchildren, Nickol Fowler (Greg), Preston Tilley (Aleigha), Jordan Tilley, Teresa Kinders (Casey), Hudson Tilley, Parker Tilley and Barrett Tilley; and his great grandchildren, Callie Fowler and Leo Tilley.
