He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake H. Surface and Mary J. Baker Surface; his spouse March; and his sisters, Carolyn Polley and Mary Lou Kelley.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Surface (Karen) of Millersville and Jarrid Surface (Juliana) of Essex; and his brothers, Hughes Surface (Martha) of Matthews, MO and Charles Surface (Patsy) of Bell City, MO.. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
