She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ott and Pearl Kifer Ott; and her sister Geraldine Norman. She is survived by: her husband Tom Meritt; her son Darin Meritt (Leslie) of Dexter; her sister-in-law Joan Peters of Dexter; her granddaughter Victoria Meritt; and also Denise Hill. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
