He is survived by: his wife Sandra Layton of Essex; his sons, Ronald of Essex and Tony Layton of Essex; and his siblings, Raymond "R. D." Layton of Rockford Illinois, Lois Carmack of Morehouse, Joyce Hall of Essex and Parzee Baker of Essex.
