She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Greenwood; her parents, Joseph Hix and Micky Hix; and her son John Longhauser. She is survived by: her son Matt Greenwood (Brooke); her grandchildren, John Longhauser, Jr., Easton Greenwood and Avery Greenwood; her siblings, Diane Watford (Ray), Debby Leahy and Keith Hix; and her nieces and nephews, Ben Girard (Sheree), Diana Hix and Katlyn Watford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
