Leland Schelp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leland Schelp (Emma, Missouri), who passed away on August 6, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Schelp and Stella Stuerke Schelp; his former wife Betty Franklin; his wife Velda Stottlemyre Robb; his stepdaughter Connie Bayless; his stepgranddaughter Stacey; and his siblings, Wilbert, Robert, Roger Schelp, Elsie Schelp, Lucille Loges, Hildegard Becker and Ruth Becker.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Schelp of Concordia and Tim Schelp (Charlotte) of Sweet Springs; his stepchildren, Doug Wahn (Phyllis) of Lee, Summit, Rick Wahn (Wanda) of Altoona, AL, Dennis Wahn (Jennifer) of Higginsville, Dennis Robb (Barbara) of Trenton, Steven Robb (Tuesday) of Chillicothe and Darla Amerman (Sam) of Kirksville; his granddaughters, Haley Meyer (Aaron), Courtney Schelp, Robin Meyer (Jon), Breanna Bongard (Shawn) and Brooke Smith (Sam); his stepgrandchildren, Dane, Deri, Jake, Ben, Kelly, Lisa, Michelle, Michael, Brett, Ricky, Jason, Jennifer, Jeffrey and Jamie; his brother Eldred Schelp of Emma; and his sister-in-law Wilma Schelp of Concordia. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
