He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Maude Smith (Hodge); his brother Dallas Smith; his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Smith and Bob Keeling; and his stepson Rodger Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Donna Smith (Cruz); his grandchildren, Kristy Roth (Jonathan) and Brandon Smith (Alicia); his great grandchildren, James, Finley, Kaylee Roth, Emma Mason and Alexia Smith; and his sister Elliene Keeling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
