He is survived by: his children, Jason Lane Burrus (Nancy) and Christy Shepherd of Eminence, MO; his grandchildren, Dylan Lane Shepherd (Whitney), Rebecca Jo and Levi Lane of Eminence; and his siblings, Linna Wood of Eminence, Judy Thomas of Flordia, Bill Burrus (Maxine) of Eminence, Jack Burrus (Betty) of Eminence, Tom Burrus of Eminence and Richard Burrus (Sherry) of Fair Play, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
