She was predeceased by: her parents, Tina Yeast Broyles and William Broyles; her brothers, Cecil Broyles and Howard Broyles; and her great grandchild Steven Chase Black.
She is survived by: her former husband John Samuel Wells; her husband James Leggett Placker; her daughter Carolyn Black (Larry) of Elsberry; her grandchildren, Christina Housewright (Dave), Doran Black (Gen) and Scott Black (Erin); her great grandchildren, Grant Black, Emma Housewright, Madelyn Housewright, Alexandria Black, Alaina Black and Elliana Black; her great great grandchild Brooklyn Black; and her brother Donald W. Broyles (Jenny) of St. Charles, MO. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
