He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Wilkins Brockman and James Brockman; his son Christopher Brockman; and his siblings, Regina Farmer and Bobby Blandford.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brockman of Elsberry; his son Joseph Brockman, Jr. (Brad Waggoner) of Elsberry; his daughter-in-law Holly Whipple Brockman of Bethalto, IL; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob (Madison) and Madelyn; his great grandchildren, Adela and Luca; his nephew Dwight Blandford; and his nieces, Pam Morris, Donna Farmer, Sandy Aull and Charlesa Yeiser. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
