It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Jeffries of Elsberry, Missouri, born in Winfield, Missouri, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cannon and Blanche Irvin Cannon; her siblings, Doris Graves, Betty Ferguson, Marjorie Colbert and Jimmy Cannon; and her husband Norman "Jeff" Jeffries.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Ann (Don Rottger) of Old Monroe, MO, Beth Renee (Jeff Burkemper) of Troy, MO, Darrell Eugene (Kerri Birkhead) of Winfield, MO, Bonnie Jean (Doug Westhoff) of Troy, MO and Joseph Birkhead of Hawk Point, MO; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Deanna, Josh, Todd, Amanda, Mollie, Ashley, Katie, Jamie, Brett, Bayley, Michael and Brandon; and her siblings, Vivian Turnbull, Rene, Ken Meers, Donna and John Adams. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
