She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Wallace and Vina Wallace; her husband John Carter; her siblings, Nolan, Junior, James, Ray, Donald, Perry Joe, Roy, Dwayne Wallace and Evelyn Leach; and her great grandchildren, Jason and Oren Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Gearhart (Glen) of Ellsinore, James Carter (Wendy) of Ellsinore, Thomas Carter (Allyson) of Bixby, OK, Mary Ann Collins (Tom) of Ellsinore, MO, John Ray Carter (Deana) of Ellsinore, Jana Kay Scott (Doug) of Poplar Bluff, Joan Fay Mann (Jim) of Ellington, Sarah Jane Hawkins (Bryan) of Van Buren and Daniel Carter (Carly) of Ellsinore; and her sister Mattie Lowe. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, 30 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
