Ora left this world on October 22, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hampton and Mamie Lee Hampton (Gilmer); her husband John Kuntz; and her siblings, Watson, Virgil, Jackie Hampton, Lora Carson, Alice Drasda, Hazel Evans, Mary Dement and Eleanor Gore.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Carter Sanders (Rebecca Lynn) of St. Louis, Virginia Gale Welch (Michael) of Ellsinore and Lorna Sue Welch of Piedmont; her sister Kathleen Welker of Piedmont; and her grandchildren, Ricky, Michael, Erick, Kris, Tim and Zachery. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
