He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Wells and Iva Wells (Friend); his daughter Cynthia Wells; and his siblings, Wilma Asberry, Oddis, Orville, Wayne, Leo and Bill Wells.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Drake (David) of Poplar Bluff, Jessica Elkins (Caleb) of Poplar Bluff, Jennifer Baer (Matt) of Festus and Gina Fisher (Fred) of Springfield; his stepson Kenneth Gipson (Serena) of Doniphan; his sisters, Jean Manis of Park Hills, Linda Hile of Forsyth and Janeanne Cochran (Gordon) of Poplar Bluff; his grandchildren, Abbi Fisher, Emmili Kimball, Kati Campbell, Ethan, Caleb, Madelin Gipson, Breanna, Johnnah Drake, Troy Elkins and Ellie Baer; and his great grandchild Aiden Kimball.
