He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Bud" Newman and Earlene Newman; his sisters, Carolyn Woodruff and Diane Bond; and his great grandchildren, Parish and Stetson.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Newman of Ellsinore, MO; his sons, Rodney Newman of Ellsinore, MO and Steve Newman (Tina) of Ellsinore, MO; his brothers, Winford Newman (Helen) of Campbell, MO, Harold Newman of Ellsinore, MO and Gary Don Newman (Marie) of Jackson, MO; his grandchildren, Nathan Newman, Brandi Newman, Cody Newman (Bethany), Megan Eldridge (John) and Brandon Newman; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Austin, Madalyn, Sydney, Sadie, Saylor and John Jr.. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
