He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Joplin (Brian), Debra Klahs (Bret), Anita Dennert (Christian) and Patricia Joplin; his grandchildren, Phillip Klahs (Sarah) of Maastricht, Kyle Klahs (Rachel) of Watertown, Sawyer Klahs (Dempsey) of Arnold, Lilly Klahs of Orlando, Abby Klahs of Hammond, Luke Klahs of Ann Arbor, Keagon Klahs of Bloomsdale, Alec Seidle of Colorado, Alaina Seidle of Florida and Aaron Seidle of Florida; his stepgrandsons, Sean Dennert of Desoto and Caleb Dennert (Natalie) of Desoto, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Anton, Jonas, Theodore Klahs, Penelope and Charles Klahs; and his sister Shirley Harkins of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The military honors was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Joplin/New Hope Cemetery.
