He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Chloe Carpenter Brunk and John Wesley Brunk; his wife Eunice Clovis Goodson; his sisters, Ethel Duncan and Dorothy Simmons; and his half-sisters, Lorene Lewis and Betty Goodson.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Brunk of Ellington, Wayne Brunk of Ellington, Danny Ray Brunk of Ellington and Kendall Brunk (Michelle) of Ellington; his grandchildren, Christina Omberg (John), Michael Brunk Jr., Robert Brunk (Tonya), Cynthia Dees (Dennis), Nathan Brunk, Amy Brunk (Andy Asberry), Dana Williams (Stevan), Dalton Brunk, Erica Raymer, Rodney Lipe (Jessica), Ariel Lipe and Jessica Harper; his great grandchildren, Caitlynn, Kristopher, Jordan, James, Ashley, Lucas, Hayden, Kylee, Camden, Carson, Jayce, Brealynn, Chulsey, Colton, Zarika, Tyler, Alexis, Abbygale and Jacob; and his great great grandchildren, DaRhyus and Nevaeh. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
