He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hewitt and Bessy Hewitt (Chitwood). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hewitt of Lesterville; and his children, Jack Hewitt (Kathleen) of Lesterville and Tammy Howison of Melton. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
