It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Valentine Hughes Jr. of Ellington, Missouri, born in Ironton, Missouri, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Hughes and Mary Ethlene Hughes (Richardson). He is survived by: his wife Georganna; his brothers, Joseph Hughes (Martha) of Jefferson City, MO, Stephen Hughes (Sharon) of St. Charles, MO and Mark Hughes (Mary) of Ste. Genevieve; and his stepchildren, Lisa Shy Hunt (Edward) of Farmington, Pamela Shy Capps (Daniel) of Chesterfield, MO and Russell Warren Shy of Ironton.
