With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Wayne Harper Sr. of Ellington, Missouri, who passed away on April 8, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Marie Chitwood Harper and James Chester Harper; and his brother Larry Dewayne Harper. He is survived by: his wife Sue Harper of Ellington; his children, Gerald Wayne Harper Jr. (Kelly) of Ellington, Alicia Baker (Zach) of Ellington and Tina Avery Bond (Jeremy) of Potosi; his grandchildren, Austin Boyland, Korey Harper, Abbi Harper, Tasha McMurry, Michael McMurry, Shawna McMurry, Josh McMurry, Stella Baker and Carter Baker; his great grandchildren, Mila Ruddicks, Case McMurry and Alana McMurry; his siblings, Ronnie Harper (Jan) of Summersville, Mike Harper of Centerville, Carolyn Schmidt of Wright City, Brenda Warren (Gary) of Ellington, Sheila Middleton (Danny) of Macon and Debbie Perry (Mark) of Kirkwood; and his caregiver Breann Sherwood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
