He was predeceased by: his parents, Dollie Vinson Barnes and James; his children, Terry Barnes and Debra Barnes; and his siblings, Michael (Buck), Larry, Curtis Barnes, Norma Jean Ayers, Wilma Smith, Freda Barnes and Sylvia Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Barnes; his daughters, Theresa Enloe (Jeff) of Timber, Rose Asberry (Greg) of Centerville, Geraldine Enloe (David) of Timber, Tracy Farris of Centerville and Jennifer Christensen of Van Buren; and his siblings, Carl Barnes (Brenda) of Dudley, Norma Chilton of Ellington and Reta Ledbetter of Cahokia. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
