It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Harlen Bales of Ellington, Missouri, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Bales and Beulah Bales (Jennings); his wife Ruth Ione Schwarten; his son Harlen Maxwell Bales; and his siblings, Jerry E. Bales, Jim "Sonny" Bales, Irene Hampton and Earlene Roush.

He is survived by: his sons, Jerome B. Bales (Pam) of Battlefield and Malcolm B. Bales (Jennifer) of Ellington; and his sister Judy Stamey (James) of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
