With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Christy Irene Moore of Ellington, Missouri, born in Turin, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Christy Irene left this world on September 24, 2024 at the age of 106, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thayer E. Brown and Mary Jo Brown (Henriksen); her husband Joseph Earl Moore; and her sister Betty Robinson. She is survived by: her children, Richard Moore (Jayne) and Mary McCormack (Dee); her grandchildren, Jennifer DeHeer, John Moore (Colleen), David Moore (Kari), Mary Kristen McWhinney (Chad), Molly Heady (Thomas) and Michael McCormack (Heather); and her brother Thayer Brown. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
