We bid farewell to Ron Smith of Elkland, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025 at the age of 72. Ron touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Beulah Webber; and his brothers, Jim, Donnie and Ric.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith; his children, Elizabeth Latham and Erik Latham; his grandchildren, Jordan Latham (Amber), Damon Latham, Kerian Moore, Kourtney Abay (Connor), Ruby Moore and Madilynn Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Abay, Baby Latham and Baby Abay.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Cemetery Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807).
