He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emerson Hamilton and Clara Hamilton (Christeson); his children, Elizabeth Steele (Loren), Colt Hamilton (Amber) and Brooke Kipp (Joe); and his grandchildren, Rex, Tanner, Clare, Easton Hamilton, Clementine, Jacob, Otis Steele and Scout Kipp.
