He was predeceased by: his parents, James Benjamin "Ben" and Carrie Mae Hodge (Hinds); and his siblings, Ruby Jean, Nellie Marie, Nora Myrtle, Billy Joe, James Walker, Mary Lou, Benny Vancel, Kenneth Warren, Delora Mae, Katherine Sue, Sammy Arnold, Tommy Rollins and Charles Edward.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Joseph Hodge (Christine) and Brady Lee Hodge; and his sisters, Ruth Lathrom of Blue Springs, Linda Hayes of Eldon and Gloria Jeter of Eldon. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
