She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Castle Martin Jr. and Melanie Martin (Smith); her brother James Martin; and her aunts, Cheryl Buechter and JoAnn Plemmons.

She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Boegeman (Brett) of Pevely and Michael Ruelas, Jr. of Barnhart; her aunt Dana Knewtson (Kelly) of Joplin; and her uncle Jack Riley (Lorraine) of Jefferson City.
