He is survived by: his wife Phylis Eckenroth-Thorson; his daughter Krista Thorson of Bullhead City, Arizona; his stepchildren, Viki Beachler (Ty) of Cocoa, Philip Eckenroth (Jennifer) of Osage, Mark Venner (Allison) of Reno and Annalee Bradley (Jon) of Albuquerque; his siblings, Dorothy Ferment, Gladys Kelly, Margi Bunch, Roger Thorson, William Thorson and Bennie Thorson; his grandchildren, Daniel Chavez, Morgan, Ashly Fleming, Alyssa Alcala, Caleb, Gabriel, Jake, Cera, Dakoda, JoJo, Blaise, Rivers, Kai Eckenroth, Emaleeann Holloway, Paige Bradley, Adi and Everett Venner; and his great grandchildren, Davina, Chloe Eckenroth and Saylor Holloway.
