He was predeceased by: his parents, Teben Payne and Etta Payne Pease (Dill); his son Jerome Paul Payne; and his sister Helen Sparks Magers. He is survived by: his spouse Glendia K. Payne (Pitts); his children, Paula Sherrill (Don) of House Springs, MO, Arron Payne (Judy) of St. Charles, MO, Michael Payne (Blenda) of Wentzville, MO and Karen Payne of Eldon, MO.; his grandchildren, Samantha, Christina (Billy), Jonathan, Emma, Genevieve, Eric (Alyson), Kristina, Sydney, Landon, Lilly, Jocelyn and Ziairrya; and his great grandchildren, Josiah, Micah and Bryer.
