She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Strunk and Grace Strunk (Moreland); her half-siblings, J. G. Sherrill, William "Dougie" Sherrill and Geraldine Todd (Sherrill); her niece Karen Maibes; and her cousin Blake Meives.
She is survived by: her husband James W. Vagedes; her daughter Joy Vagedes; her grandchild Krystal Conn; and her great grandchildren, Karmen McNeil and Taylor Conn.
