She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Toepfer and Nancy Toepfer; her sister Shirley (John); her son David; and her daughter-in-law Betty Watkins Dowler.
She is survived by: her husband John R. Dowler; her brother Gene Toepfer (Jan) of Alameda, California; her brother-in-law Ted Dowler (Beth) of Springfield, Missouri; her sons, Michael Dowler (Paula) of Marshfield and Tim Dowler (Mark Smith) of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Stephanie Yeager (Kyle) of Springfield and Shelby Dowler (Monica) of Springfield, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Kailey and Natalynn Yeager of Springfield. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Eldon United Methodist Church, the Lake Area Community Orchestra, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
