She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Michael and Katherine NovoGradac (Hodge); and her cousin Matthew Gilmore. She is survived by: her son River; her parents, Chad Hoyer and Kara NovoGradac; and her siblings, Morgan Brown, Madison Bailey, Emily Hoyer, Reagan Hoyer and C. J. Hoyer.

Donations made in lieu of flowers will be used to honor Macey's favorite causes: Planned Parenthood, National Parks Foundation, Help Save the Bees Foundation, The Trevor Project.
