She was predeceased by: her sister Charlotte Jean Howser; her grandparents, Melvin, Hazel Scott, Basil and Lola Howser; her parents-in-law, Mary Catherine and Clyde C. Farris, Jr.; her sister-in-law Kimberly Farris (Kirk); and her nephew Evan Wainwright.

She is survived by: her parents, Charley Loucian and Jean Howser (Scott) of Barnett, MO.; her friend Clyde C. "Sonny" Farris; her children, Ryan, Caitlyn, Adalyn, Jackson Vernon of Eldon, MO, Mason, Katie, Goldie, Devin and Bailey Elliott of Rogersville, MO.; her brother Kevin (Deb Howser); and her siblings-in-law, Shane, Sherri Farris, Joel Farris, Tom, Sherril Couts and Jeffrey Farris. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

“In loving memory of Kimberly Jean Farris, May God give you comfort in your time of grief. The first time I met Kim was when I woke up in the hospital after my lung collapsed. She was standing next to the bed when I woke up with a little smile and asked "How are doing". She was also the first one I saw the second time my lung collapsed and later after my lung surgery. After that she became my pulmonary Doctor. Thank you Lord for sending us all Kimberly Farris, a true angel of mercy.”
