He is survived by: his spouse Jamie Sue Hayter Combs; his children, Lindsay (Doug) of Springfield, Megan (Lindsey) of Logan and Jerry II (Traci) of Melbourne, Florida; his sisters, Patricia Hayes (Delbert) and Rebecca Poertner (Dean); and his grandchildren, Trenton, Olivia, Kara and Holly. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
