She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd L. Helton and Ruby G. Helton (Clark); her husbands, Terry Neal Glaze and Dan Smith; her brother Terry Lloyd Helton; and her brother-in-law Larry "Bud" Abbott.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Glaze (Michele) of Eldon and Becky Butcher (Ray) of Rocky Mount; her siblings, Sharon Abbott, Judy Kuhn (George), Charlotte Brumley (Richard), Steve Helton (Ashley Mazza) and Melissa Barnhart (Iva); and her grandchildren, Jason Glaze (Jacqueline), Megan Gulley, Brittany Toalson (Adam), Daniel Slone (Sara), Dylan Lyle, Jordyn Lyle and Aubry Glaze. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
