Janell Archuleta-Visser Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janell Archuleta-Visser of Eldon, Missouri, born in Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Archuleta. She is survived by: her mother Mary Campos; her husband Floyd "PeeWee" Visser; her children, Destini Manly, Ryan Visser and Donovan Visser; her grandchildren, Ean Visser, Nevaeh Manly, Eli Visser, Jaxson Manly and Noah Visser; and her siblings, Connie Archuleta Bax, Anna Larson, Sherri Archuleta, Maria Trujillo, Deniel Campos, Chris Campos, Brittany Archuleta and Amanda Archuleta.

Detention Sergeant Visser died from complications as a result of contracting COVID-19 while serving at the Miller County Detention Center at 1999 MO-52 in Tuscumbia, MO.

A plaque honoring Janell's service and contributions to the Miller County Sheriff's Office will be placed at the first responders wall in Washington, D.C. A name plate for Janell will also be placed at the 9-11 Tribute Memorial Wall in Lamar.
