She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hoppe and Clara Marie Hoppe (Wendt); her husband Gerald "Jerry" Lee Sloan; and her daughter Mendy Becklenberg. She is survived by: her son Steven Sloan (Stacey Hood) of Eldon, MO; her grandchildren, Jeremy Stewart (Kelly), Lisa Nelson (Shannon), Lacy Welschmeyer (Jeremy) and Lydia Foster (Brian); her great grandchildren, Brett, Bailee, Drake, Deegan, Olyvia, Kinsley and Oaklee; and her brother Fred Hoppe (Dora).
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in her name are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
